Q What’s the best SSD (Solid State Drive) to buy?
A as far as we are concerned, as at the 1st March 2022, there is only one brand of SSD you should ever consider for your notebook /or PC and that is Samsung.
Not only do they generally offer better performance than other brands, we have found their reliability far, far superior to other brands. There is obviously a reason that most Samsung SSD’s carry a five-year warranty.
From our experience, we have had exceptionally bad reliability from other brands (eg. ADATA) with these drives failing at an alarming rate after two to three years.
